The NJ Leathernecks Motorcycle Club was formed in 2000,

with Marine Corps family values. Our membership is made up of

Marines, Former Marines and Naval Corpsman who served with

a Fleet Marine Force unit. We are an active member of the

Leathernecks Nation. Because the members of the NJ Leathernecks

MC are Marines and Former Marines, each have earned the title of

a “United States Marines” and we each hold that title in high regard.

More than 230 years of success and tradition have helped carve a

place for Marines in the hearts of Americans. The NJ Leathernecks

MC was formed by Marines that have a love of their Marine Corps,

their families and their love of riding motorcycles. Like the Marines

that have gone before us, we uphold the legacy that begins at the

recruit depots and Officers Candidates School. Here we each

undertook the transformation of young Americans into Marines,

and ultimately into contributing citizens in our communities in a

unique and indelible way. From our earliest days as Marines, we are

taught that the Marine Corps is a special team – a family. Just as the

family should play a major role in the upbringing of children, the

Marine Corps embraces this noble responsibility in the caring for it’s

own. To this end the Leatherneck M/C was formed to support

Marines and their families and their community as a whole. Part of

belonging to the Marine family involves incorporating the values

we learned as Marines into the daily lives of each of its members.

We all understand, and most subscribe to, our Corps values: Honor,

Courage, and Commitment. There are other values, which we honor

as defenders of the constitution: the ideals of democracy, fairness,

faith, and freedom. These values and the basic concept of right and

wrong are cornerstones in building Marines. These basic values are

the “anchor points” of the values that the NJ Leathernecks

MC holds. Our members are held to those values and those values
